Chopin – Fantaisie-Impromptu

This popular piece was never published by Chopin. Some people think it was because of its similarity to Moscheles’ Impromptu in E♭ major. Paul Barton has a great video on YouTube illustrating and comparing some parts of Moscheles’ work.
Nevertheless, I was drawn to this colourful music very early on and I remember that my peers from high school all compete with each other to learn this one. I was never really good enough to join the gang but hey, after all these years I finally can play the whole piece.
